Terms of Use

Last updated: October 15, 2026

Agreement

These terms govern your use of the Leavenly app ("the app") provided by Thuyen Nguyen, an individual based in Vietnam ("we", "us"). By installing or using the app you agree to them. The app is licensed to you under the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. If these terms and the Apple EULA conflict, the Apple EULA prevails on the matters it covers.

What the app does

Leavenly helps you keep track of sourdough starters, feedings, rise measurements, bake timers and baker's percentages. The app works on your device and does not require an account.

Free and Premium

Some features are free. Other features require Leavenly Premium, which is available as:

  • Yearly: an auto-renewable subscription for one year at $14.99 per year (US price), with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.
  • Lifetime: a one-time purchase at $24.99 (US price) with no renewal and no trial.

Prices in other countries are set by Apple and shown in the App Store before you buy. Taxes may apply.

Subscription terms

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial if you do not cancel.
  • The yearly subscription renews automatically for another year at the then current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription and the free trial at any time: open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Leavenly Premium and tap Cancel. You keep access until the end of the paid period.
  • Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
  • The free trial is offered to new subscribers only, once per Apple ID subscription group.

Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple, so refund requests are handled by Apple. You can request one at https://reportaproblem.apple.com. This does not limit your statutory rights as a consumer.

Your content

You own the content you create in the app, including photos and notes. It stays on your device. You are responsible for backing it up, for example with the export function in Settings or iCloud Backup. We are not able to restore data that is lost with your device or when the app is removed.

Acceptable use

Do not copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the app, bypass its purchase checks, or use it in a way that breaks the law. Fonts, images and formulas in the app belong to us or our licensors and are provided for your personal use.

Baking and food safety

Reminders, timers, rise measurements and temperature adjustments are estimates for convenience. Real timing depends on flour, hydration, starter strength and your kitchen. The app gives no professional or food safety advice. Judge your starter and dough by sight, smell and your own experience, and follow safe food handling practices. Handle ovens and hot items with care.

Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error free or suitable for a particular purpose. Notifications and widgets depend on your device settings and operating system, and they may be delayed or not delivered.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, lost profit or spoiled ingredients arising from the use of the app, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law or your mandatory consumer rights.

Changes and termination

We may update the app and these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. If you do not agree to a change, stop using the app. We may suspend access for serious breaches of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without affecting mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live. Disputes are handled by the competent courts of Vietnam, unless mandatory law gives you the right to go to the courts where you live.
